Stealth, an insomniac with a flair for music. His dark tone mirrors the nights he spends awake writing moody lyrics and melodies, yet his voice is big enough to wake the dead. Stealth’s sound takes strong influence from Blues and Soul- Howlin Wolf and Etta James are two of his idols. He’s found, between the dark tone of his voice and emotive lyrics, a moving and personal style of music.
Stealth has featured on Drum and Bass heavyweights Netsky Vs. Metrik’s single “Can’t Speak”. The song peaked at #5 on the Beatport chart and is on Netsky’s debut album. He’s also written with musical legend Nitin Sawhney, featuring on his album ‘Dystopian Dream’. Stealth has had many high profile featuring’s including; Stealth’s track with Roger Sanchez- ‘Remember Me’ which has been played by Pete Tong and his track with Drumsound and Bassline Smith- ‘Fearless’ which is regularly played on BBC Radio One and is highly favoured by Mistajam.
Stealth’s blistering song, ‘Judgement Day’, was premiered on the finale episode of US TV series ‘Suits’ to a phenomenal reaction on both sides of the Atlantic. The track has clocked up over 2 Million plays on The Vibe Guide and has so far accumulated over 6 million streams; it was also used on the hit show ‘Black Ink Crew.’
‘Judgement Day’ has charted globally in 13 countries on Shazam, and entered the US Future Hits Chart at No.9, and the UK at No.13. The platform also featured the song as their ‘Track of the Day’ and described it as “this year’s ‘Take Me To Church’.”
Most recently ‘Judgement Day’ was used in a trailer documenting the Captain of the Indian National Cricket team ‘Virat Kohli’s’ life story which has been shared with Kohli’s over 13 million social media fanbase.
It was the latest song to be taken from Stealth’s debut EP Intro, released on March 25th the EP was charted at No 2 in the UK singer/songwriter chart and No 3 in the US chart of the same name.
Stealth has been quickly turning tastemaker heads with the Intro EP. Phil Taggart has been a big champion at Radio 1 and described ‘I Don’t Need Your Love’ as, “a three-minute record of pure perfection,” while the single has also gained support from Dermot O’Leary at Radio 2 and Stealth even recorded a live session for the show; He has been championed by BBC Introducing and gained a wealth of high profile press support from the likes of Shortlist, Konbini, Record of the day and Music Week to name but a few.
Stealth has also been carving a distinct mark on the live scene. He sold out his first ever London headline show at Servant Jazz Quarters and has played in support of Vaults, Seinabo Sey, Jamie Woon, Zella Day, Nothing but Thieves and Tiggs Da Author, he also has an upcoming gig supporting Kaleo (Way Down we go) at The Birmingham Institute on 4th February 2017.
